Rankin PhD Studentship for Postgraduate Study in Egyptology, UK

The Department of Archaeology, Classics and Egyptology at the University of Liverpool is pleased to announce the Rankin PhD Studentship for Postgraduate Study in Egyptology. This fees-only scholarship will support one outstanding PhD student beginning their studies in October 2025, covering full-time university fees for three years.

The study award is open to UK (home) students who have applied for the PhD programme in Egyptology at the University of Liverpool and will begin their studies in the 2025/26 academic year. Applicants must have achieved, or expect to achieve, a First-Class Master’s degree (or equivalent). Candidates must not hold any other bursary, scholarship, or external doctoral funding.
